Well, what can I say? We worked so hard to put on an amazing gallery exhibition and a jam-packed timetable of events and it really couldn’t have gone any better.  So many magical memories were made & pieces made by our attendees will be cherished for a very long time.

We had hundreds of people from our community celebrating with us during this phenomenal period in history; “70 years serving your country, what an achievement your Majesty.”

Our “More than a Portrait exhibition showcased some amazing talent at our BloomingArt Art studios, many upcoming artists are ex Learning Curve Group student’s.  All the artwork was of such a high standard, and we certainly had lots of visitors, plus lots of pieces being sold.  It was an incredible experience for everyone.  Kirsty our BloomingArt Associate Artist did an exceptional job as a lead artist on the exhibition.

It was a challenge to get a diverse selection of workshops that would suit everyone, but everyone couldn’t have been happier & nearly every workshop was full.  The buffets went down so well each day too & it put a special finishing touch on everything.

We couldn’t have done this without the funding from the Arts Council Lottery Funding and the support of Cheshire Community Foundation, as they supported our application.  Thank you so much for believing in our project.

All of this wouldn’t have been possible if I didn’t have the right team and the most amazing people delivering these workshops alongside me.  My bar is set very high & this in turn is such a positive as it also attracts the best possible team of art teachers, art enthusiasts & art delivery. At this point I really need to mention Lisa,  she has grown so much over the last several years and she did an amazing job as an art assistant during all of our Workshops.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee has been such an amazing celebration.  We ran 2 portrait workshops, bespoke tote bag designing, these were a huge hit. We had Elmer elephant workshops ran by Estelle, peg people, ceramics, broch making, magnet designing and more.

I’ve so many highlights, but the one that stands out the most is:   Having one of my previous Creative Remedies clients who had been coming to my art class for several years, then feeling safe enough to take the next step and join a Learning Curve Group funded Art Class taught by Estelle.  She grew more and more each week, believing in herself a tad more each session.  Then… I saw my window; I knew she was ready to deliver her own Workshop.  No one at BloomingArt knows more about Zen tangle.  It couldn’t have gone any better, everyone had a marvellous time and learned so much, no one had a clue it was her 1st Workshop.  She sent me the most amazing, beautiful message, which I’ll always treasure, but what I’ll treasure more is that beaming smile at a legendary period, you really can’t put a price on it, but stories like this happen multiple times throughout the year at my Academy

We care so much about making a difference and giving individuals a Safe Space to mend, grow, laugh, and learn, is what my organisation excels at. So, Charities that support us really do make a huge difference.

Thankyou,

Gail & Team. xxx
